Do you ever notice how much normal life drains you of your aspirations for the person you want to be and your imagination for living with God in his kingdom?
I was at a conference last week that reminded me of ways that vision, and desire and excitement for God had drained out of me over the last few months.
I felt God challenge me to put 3-4 of those key passages in scripture that have served to fill my heart with the desire to love and serve God fully in my life... and to read and meditate on these, one per week, over the summer.
On the plane home, I began making a list of those key scriptures and quietly asked the Spirit to take the Word and put it deeply in my heart.
Perhaps if you also feel drained, you might consider doing the same exercise. What scriptures would make your list?
